The Story Behind BRIK & PEARL®
The story of BRIK & PEARL® begins with family.
Traditionally associated with a 30-year anniversary, the pearl became a fitting symbol for three decades of Elleebana, its educators, distributors, artists and global community.
PEARL represents that 30-year milestone.
BRIK represents the strong foundations that made those 30 years possible.
But the name carries an even more personal meaning for Elleebana CEO, Zoe Mitter.
Zoe’s father was a bricklayer by trade, while her mother’s name, Margaret, means “pearl”. Even the name of the third product within the system, LASH LIFE Volume Filler, carries a family link, with Zoe meaning “life” in Greek.
Together, BRIK, PEARL and LIFE connect the system back to the people, values and foundations behind the company.

What Is BRIK & PEARL®?
BRIK & PEARL® is a professional three-step lash lift and brow lamination system focused on three key stages:

Together, the products allow artists to reshape, set and condition the hair while maintaining greater control throughout each stage of the service.
Step 1: BRIK & PEARL® Bond Flex
Bond Flex is the restructuring stage of the system.
Its hybrid dual-reduction formula combines Ammonium Thioglycolate, or ATG, with Cysteamine HCl to temporarily modify disulfide bonds within the hair so the lashes or brows can be reshaped.
The combination brings together the efficient reducing performance of ATG with the flexibility and broader processing control associated with Cysteamine HCl.
For the artist, that means a formula designed to offer control across different hair types, techniques and treatment styles.
Its controlled viscosity also supports accurate product placement, which is particularly important when working with more detailed lash lifting methods.
Bond Flex is further supported by KeraVeg-18, a plant-derived protein and amino acid complex developed for chemically treated hair.
Supplier testing has shown an improvement in the strength of chemically treated hair of up to 21%, helping support the condition and integrity of the hair during the service.
Step 2: BRIK & PEARL® Bond Lock
Once the lashes or brows have been reshaped, Bond Lock supports the setting stage.
The hydrogen peroxide-based neutralising formula supports controlled oxidation, helping reform the disulfide bonds and stabilise the hair into its newly created shape.
This stage is designed to support reliable bond reformation while maintaining flexibility and consistency within the finished result.
Bond Flex and Bond Lock work together to give lash and brow artists a controlled approach to restructuring and setting across a wide range of hair types.
More Than Conditioning: Meet LASH LIFE Volume Filler
One of the key points of difference within BRIK & PEARL® is LASH LIFE Volume Filler.
LASH LIFE is far more than a traditional conditioning treatment.
Its peptide-rich and hydration-focused formula has been created to play several roles within the BRIK & PEARL® service.
Use it as a Step 1.5 treatment
Applied after Bond Flex, LASH LIFE helps support the removal of residual Step 1 product while assisting with pH rebalancing and preparing the hair structure before Bond Lock.
This creates a cleaner, more controlled transition between the reduction and oxidation stages of the service.
Use it within approved Monofusion™ techniques
LASH LIFE can also be incorporated into approved Monofusion™ techniques, giving trained professionals another way to integrate conditioning support within their treatment method.
Use it as your final leave-on filler
At the completion of the treatment, LASH LIFE returns as a leave-on finishing filler to deeply condition, hydrate and soften the lashes or brows while helping improve their visible fullness and finish.
